Stealth Winches Update: What’s Changed & What Hasn’t?
Stealth winches have built a strong reputation with recovery operators across Ireland for one simple reason: they’re dependable, straightforward, and built for real work.
We’ve got an important update to share. Stealth is now officially the entry-level winch range within Warrior Winches, rather than being positioned as a standalone product brand. That means Stealth now sits clearly inside the Warrior family — with refreshed branding — while keeping the same proven performance operators rely on.
Below is a quick, practical breakdown of what’s new, and what’s staying exactly the same.
Phased Rollout: You May See a Mix of Old and New
This change is being introduced as a phased rollout, so for a period of time there will be a mix of the previous Stealth branding and the updated Warrior-aligned Stealth branding, depending on the model and current stock.
Over time, the full range will transition across. If you need to confirm exactly which version you’re getting (or you’re matching an existing setup), just get in touch and we’ll verify it for you.
What’s New: Updated Paint & Logos (Still Stealth Red)
Across the Stealth range you’ll notice:
- New paint finish
- Updated logos/branding
- Still red (Stealth’s colour remains unchanged)
It’s a visual refresh that brings Stealth in line with Warrior Winches, while keeping the identity operators recognise.
What Hasn’t Changed: The Specs You Know
For recovery operators, the headline is simple: the core winch specifications remain the same. If you’ve used Stealth on the job and trust the pulling power and reliability, you’re still getting that same setup — just with updated branding.
The Main Change: Remote Control Setups (Model by Model)
Stealth 3500 & 4500: One Remote (Upgraded)
The Stealth 3500 and 4500 models now come with:
- One remote control instead of two
- An upgraded premium Warrior remote
So while there’s only one controller supplied now, it’s a step up in quality and brings the control system in line with the Warrior standard.
Stealth 13500: Two Wireless Handsets
The Stealth 13500 also gets the new paint and logos and keeps the same winch spec — but now includes:
- Two wireless handsets
For operators, that’s a simple win: a spare handset ready to go, or a second controller available when you’ve got more than one person involved in the recovery.
What This Means for Recovery Operators
If you’re buying Stealth for fleet use, daily callouts, or as a dependable entry-level option for a new build, this update should be reassuring:
- Same winch performance
- Clearer positioning inside the Warrior range
- Improved remote packages depending on model
- Phased transition, so stock/branding may vary while the change rolls through
